It's week 2 of Singapore's Circuit Breaker, pat yourself on the back for surviving week 1. While it's hard to continue business as usual with so many restrictions in place, hope that everyone is holding up well and using this time productively to reflect and plan your business strategy. How can you continue to build your brand awareness while staying home? Here are five video ideas you can use to continue growing your brand awareness from the comfort of home!
1) Do Educational Videos Content is king, especially engaging video content when everyone is stuck at home with little else to do. People are continually searching for new content to consume and pass their time, and if you can create videos that serve to educate or entertain consumers on topics close to their hearts, you are likely to win yourself new fans to your brand. 2. Profile Video With the pace of work slowing down, there's no better time for some thoughtful planning for the future. Reflect on what are your strengths and work on weakness while preparing for the day when work eventually resumes. Start on video scripting and storyboarding for an introductory video of what makes your business, service or product special, so you are ready to start filming immediately and market your business ahead of your competition once things normalise! 3. Live Video Streaming Although meet-ups are impossible, continue to engage your community through live video. Especially if you already have a following, it's the easiest and cheapest way to share your views on the market, stay connected with your existing clients and reach out to new clients with timely live video updates during this rapidly evolving climate. 4. Expand your Social Networks With people continuously find new ways to connect, video is increasingly getting popular across all social platforms and getting the highest priority to display on the feed of your followers. If you're already on Facebook, why not reach out to new audiences and demographics by setting up a new profile on platforms to repost exisiting videos you're not currently on? Social media is more than only just Facebook with other platforms such as Instagram IGTV, Youtube or even Tik-Tok that's gaining popularity among the young or young at heart if you're game enough! 5. Repurpose Old Videos Your audience quickly gets bored if you keep using the same videos or sharing generic content. Even if it's not possible for you to head outside and film, old videos can be re-edited into a more engaging format, or old footages repurposed together with new stock footages to keep your content fresh and retain your audience's attention! We hope that we have given you some good ideas you can immediately use to grow your business from home! Get in touch if you need any help with any of the above, as we're still available throughout this period working from home! Best Regards, Ryan Co-founder, AffinityMotions
