Now that more and more Singapore Real Estate Agents are starting to use video for marketing their listings, you might think writing your own script to film one yourself should be pretty easy too? Just have to list out all the specifications and features of the house and end of story, sounds easy enough? Not quite..... A listing video should be like a trailer for a movie, and for every story, there needs to be a Beginning, a Middle, and an End.

​If you aim to use video to market to potential clients so they will pick up the phone and call you for a viewing appointment, just blabbering out all the features of the house is grossly insufficient. A video combines an audio and visual experience to create an engaging magnet to pull in potential buyers for your property. A video not only has to look good visually, but the dialog should also entice and motivate to get in touch with you to find out for themselves what the property listing has to offer. Here are some useful tips on writing the various parts of your realtor script!

1) The Beginning 
Capture your potential buyer's attention firstly at the beginning! Is there a breathtaking view, is it in a desirable location, is the renovation works fit for a king, or is it priced so attractively that is is an irresistible investment opportunity?

2) The Middle
Next, give them a preview of what living there is like. What kind of coveted lifestyle can they enjoy when they buy the house? State of art appliances for cooking gourmet meals in the stylish kitchen, reading a book while soaking in the luxurious tub in the private bathroom, or al fresco dinner dining under the stars at the balcony? Tease their imagination and allow them to envision themselves living in the property.

3) The End
​And lastly, finish up with an ending of course. Tell your audience what to do next with a direct call to action! Since you have left them wanting for more, they will want to know how they can get in touch to find out more about the property or arrange for a viewing!
